The May 2021 edition of the Istanbul Jewelry Show (IJS) has been postponed to March next year, event organiser Informa Markets announced.

The trade show will now take place from March 24 to 27, 2022.

Originally set for March 25 to 28 this year, it had been rescheduled for May 27 to 30 at CNR Expo, Istanbul Fair Center.

“While Informa continues to successfully and safely run events using the industry-recognised AllSecure Standards, we believe that moving the Istanbul Jewelry Show event to March 24 to 27, 2022 is the right decision to achieve a more prosperous and accessible event, in consideration of the continuing restrictions on international travel,” Informa Markets said in a statement.

The decision to postpone the event was taken after close consultation with the industry and stakeholders, the show organiser revealed.

“Our top priority is the safety and success of our colleagues, partners, customers and exhibitors,” it continued.

IJS’ October edition will be held as planned from October 7 to 10, 2021.
