De Beers Jewellers, meanwhile, introduced the first chapter of its latest high jewellery collection, Essence of Nature. Inspired by the beauty and symbolism of trees, the collection highlights the unparalleled allure of diamonds through an array of rough and polished white, green, yellow and brown diamonds.

For instance, the Embrace bracelet combines rough green and polished white diamonds, paying tribute to the colours and textures found in nature while The Foundation necklace features two rows of brilliant white diamonds cascading towards a rare 3.02-carat fancy deep-greyish, yellowish-green diamond, reminiscent of a tree’s magnificent canopy.
