The global jewellery trade will converge in Italy for VicenzaOro January (VOJ), scheduled for January 16 to 20, 2026 at the Italian Exhibition Group’s (IEG) Expo Centre.
Spotlight will be on luxury jewellery collections, innovative designs as well as latest trends in the jewellery industry. The VO Awards, which celebrates exhibitors’ creativity, innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship, is also making its debut at the fair.
T. Gold, a leading jewellery technology and machinery exhibition, and VO Vintage, the B2C marketplace for fine vintage watch and jewellery collectors, will likewise be held in conjunction with VicenzaOro.
Matteo Farsura, global exhibition manager of IEG, described the show as a business platform and an innovation, training and discussion hub for industry players.
“We have enclosed this product, people and place ecosystem in a new claim, People · Product · Places,” explained Farsura. “It is the lifeblood which, in over 70 years of history, has led VicenzaOro to become a global reference of industry excellence. A heritage that will now be further enriched with the introduction of the VO Awards.”
A new manifesto
VOJ’s new strategic vision – People · Product · Places – will guide the show’s road to growth and longevity.
According to IEG, “Product” originates from the winning combination of manufacturing excellence, design, materials, creative inspiration and technical ability that embody the quality and creativity of a “Made in Italy” jewellery and top-notch international production.
At the centre are “People,” the talents, relationships and strength of the global community that animate the sector and drive its evolution. Lastly, the physical and symbolic “Places” refer to where the jewellery takes shape: The Expo Centre, Vicenza and its territory, the national manufacturing districts and represented world markets.
“A story that unites heritage, vision, value and innovation under the banner of the IEG event’s strong and globally recognised identity, an event in which each of the sector's players is a vital force: From exhibitors to visitors, sector operators, opinion leaders, experts, young talents, associations, institutions and the media,” Farsura concluded.
Trends and ideas
A carefully curated selection of fine jewellery, diamonds, gemstones and jewellery manufacturing technology and packaging await visitors to VicenzaOro January.
The boutique show remains incomparable in terms of jewellery collection previews, refined designs, product launches and new technical solutions that will be at the disposal of global buyers from five continents, IEG said.
An exciting roster of events, talks and technical seminars, meanwhile, will feature industry experts who will share insights on pertinent issues in the trade. Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting, VicenzaOro’s independent observatory, alongside technical seminars by CIBJO, The World Jewellery Confederation, are among the highly awaited events.
VO Awards
The VO Awards recognises and promotes jewellery production excellence, creativity, sustainability and innovation in the industry.
The competition, open to Italian and foreign exhibitors of finished products from the ICON, LOOK and CREATION communities, features eight categories.
The finalist jewels, selected by an expert and multidisciplinary jury, will be on display at VicenzaOro January 2026 while buyers and visitors can cast their votes on the first two days of the event. Applications are open until November 30.
The Vicenzaoro Experience
Registration for VicenzaOro January 2026 is now open to business visitors. According to the organiser, redevelopment of Hall 2 is ongoing at full speed with minimal impact on the show’s operations. Meanwhile, tailor-made services and physical and digital integration are aimed at maximising business opportunities.
The Jewellery Connect platform, which is available on App, also allows buyers to access the exhibitor catalogue, plan their route in advance, manage appointments and receive suggestions for a richer sourcing experience.
Visitors also get a chance to discover Vicenza through shopping, art, culture, food and wine, thanks to off-show events organised with the city. A must-see is the Jewellery Museum, which features a new exhibition in the central Basilica Palladiana, a UNESCO heritage site.
