Luxury group LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton said its jewellery business performed strongly in the first quarter of 2023, led by high-end brands Tiffany & Co and Bulgari.
Revenues from LVMH’s Watches & Jewelry segment rose 11 per cent year on year on the back of solid demand for the new Lock jewellery collection launched by Tiffany & Co and Bulgari’s Serpenti line, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary.
Tiffany is also preparing for the reopening of its Fifth Avenue store in New York while Bulgari’s high jewellery collection, Eden: The Garden of Wonders, gained strong following in the market. “High jewellery enjoyed a very good performance,” noted LVMH.
Meanwhile, Chaumet created a new engagement programme, Echo Culture Awards, which aims to promote cultural projects, while Fred released its new reversible Pretty Woman bracelets, featuring a signature “heart within a heart” in carnelian.
