A broad array of top-of-the-line testing instruments, gadgets and other equipment will be showcased at this year’s edition of Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) in November.
Thailand’s SmartPro Instrument Co Ltd, provider of high-precision gem and jewellery testing devices, will present MAX tester, which the company described as the world’s first 5-in-1 device for identifying lab-grown diamonds and simulants. It combines thermal and optical technologies to offer unparalleled accuracy and versatility.
Another highlight will be Aura IQ, the smallest lab-grown diamond scanner designed for high-volume testing environments. The Air Do-X, a cost-effective handheld engraver, setter and polisher with a built-in pump and micromotor, will also be offered.
Shenzhen Dikai Industrial Co Ltd, which manufactures diamond and other gemmological equipment, will also present innovative products including the GemTrue APEX DK10300 Premium Synthetic Diamond Tester.
The advanced tester detects natural diamonds, moissanites, simulants and cubic zirconia or glass, both loose and mounted. It features optical and thermal dual detection and a compact design.
Founded in 2004, the Chinese-British joint venture is headquartered in China. “All our products are exported worldwide to major gemmological institutions and companies,” Shenzhen Dikai said.
Organised by Italian Exhibition Group and Informa Markets Jewellery, JGTD 2025 is scheduled for November 11 to 13 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre.
