Pandora will have a new CEO at the beginning of 2026, instead of March, as the leadership change announced in September concludes ahead of schedule.
The company said Berta de Pablos-Barbier, currently chief marketing officer (CMO), will step into the role of CEO on January 1.
“The transition, initially set to be completed at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March, will be finalised earlier than planned following a seamless handover from current CEO Alexander Lacik,” revealed the jeweller.
Jennie Farmer will take over Pablos-Barbier’s CMO position.
The company earlier announced that Lacik is retiring after almost seven years in his role. During his tenure, Pandora’s revenue grew by 45 per cent while total shareholder return exceeded 200 per cent.
Lacik will remain with Pandora as a special advisor until the AGM in March 2026.
“He leaves the company with a strong foundation and significant growth potential,” noted Peter Ruzicka, chair of Pandora’s Board of Directors.
De Pablos-Barbier, for her part, said she will focus on navigating current market uncertainties while looking at untapped growth opportunities.
“We are building a bigger Pandora,” she remarked.
Meanwhile, Farmer, who is currently senior vice president, Brand Experience & Channels, has over 25 years of experience with global luxury and consumer brands. She previously held senior roles at De Beers and LVMH before joining Pandora in January 2025.
