Tonight at 8pm HKT, JNA Awards will pay tribute to industry veterans Lawrence Ma and Kent Wong – Recipients of JNA Awards 2020’s highest accolade – the Lifetime Achievement Award, and reveal the award Recipients across seven categories.

The awards presentation ceremony will be broadcast live to a global audience at JNA Awards’ first-ever virtual ceremony on Zoom, aptly adding a celebratory note to the first day of Jewellery & Gem Digital World. (Click here to register.) 

Ma and Wong, longstanding pillars of the global jewellery industry, are recognised for helping shape and transform not only Hong Kong’s jewellery industry but that of the global jewellery community. Their bold ambitions and vision went beyond simple profit-making; they endeavoured to affect positive change within their organisations and the communities they serve through leadership and action.

Back in June, the JNA Awards announced its roster of 32 Honourees across seven award categories. In spite of unprecedented challenges, the shortlisted companies and individuals demonstrated great perseverance and agility to adapt to the new normal while preserving their own strengths and competitiveness. The Recipients of each award category will be announced and celebrated at tonight’s virtual ceremony.

Meanwhile, JNA Awards is hosting two webinars today. Tech Talk: Diamond and Gemstones (12pm HKT) and Tech Talk: Sustainability (4pm HKT) are going to feature JNA Awards’ network of industry experts. Both webinars are powered by Informa Markets Jewellery’s Jewellery & Gem Knowledge Community. 

JNA Awards Trade Talks, featuring Partners of the awards programme, will likewise share their industry insights through video sessions that will be aired throughout J&G Digital World (October 27 to 29).
