The Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers' Association (HKJMA) has named a new chairman who will take office on September 1, 2025.
Tommy Lee, who represents Hong Kong jeweller Sun Sang Jewelry Co, will lead the organisation during a two-year term. As new chairman, Lee will nominate associate chairpersons, other office bearers and additional executive directors.
With more than two decades of experience in the jewellery sector, Lee specialises in marketing and operations. Prior to his appointment, he was associate chairman of HKJMA, tasked to oversee exhibition affairs over the last five years.
Lee expressed his commitment to HKJMA’s mission of uplifting the Hong Kong jewellery industry’s global status and promoting local jewellery craftsmanship and designs.
“During challenging times, my focus is on fostering unity within the trade and supporting members in driving business through our diverse services,” stated Lee. “This includes organising Hong Kong pavilions in overseas jewellery shows, nurturing young talents through J-Hub and providing the industry with the latest market insights, among others.”
