The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) recognised leading exporters in India at the latest edition of the India Gem & Jewellery Awards (IGJA) in Jaipur.
A total of 24 awards were presented, namely 14 Industry Performance Awards; seven Special Recognition Awards; two Felicitation Awards; and one Bank Supporting the Gems & Jewellery Industry Awards. The event was held on December 2, 2024.
Pramod Agrawal, chairman of Derewala Industries Ltd, received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, served as presiding guest. Also present were GJEPC officials led by Chairman Vipul Shah; Sachin Jain, Regional CEO – India of the World Gold Council; and Gopal Kumar, director and general manager of Gemfields India Pvt Ltd.
