Luxury jeweller Boucheron is looking to expand its production capacity with the recent acquisition of a new high jewellery workshop near Place Vendôme in Paris.
The move is part of the jeweller’s ongoing growth and development strategy, according to the company. The workshop consists of four companies: Blondeau, Belter, Chanson and FG Développement, which have worked together at the same address since 2017. They gather about 60 artisans (CAD designers, jewellers, lapidaries, setters and polishers) who are involved in each step of the process in the making of a high jewellery creation, Boucheron said.
“The acquisition of this high jewellery workshop writes a new chapter in the history of the maison,” said Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, CEO of Boucheron. “It will reinforce the production capacity of Boucheron’s historical workshop on Place Vendôme, enabling us to meet the increasing demand of our clients while maintaining the excellence of our craftsmanship.”
