The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has partnered with e-commerce giant eBay in setting up an online jewellery store exclusively for the council’s members.
With a “Make in India for the World” tagline, the online shop on eBay is aimed at helping jewellery exporters including micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and brands boost their online jewellery sales.
It is also expected to provide market research and insights apart from business development support. According to GJEPC, eBay has 183 million active buyers as of the second quarter of 2020 and more than 15,000 Indian sellers – a potential market for GJEPC...
