Ethereal Green Diamond LLP is presenting an impressive 75.33-carat lab-grown diamond (LGD), which has been certified as the world’s largest LGD to date.
Named “Celebration of India,” the square, emerald-cut Type IIA LGD with excellent polish and symmetry has been analysed and graded by the International Gemological Institute (IGI) alongside “Infinity Ring,” a one-of-a-kind 30.69-carat ring-shaped diamond crafted from a single chemical vapor deposition (CVD) rough.
Ethereal Green Diamond collaborated with RockRush to create the two unique LGDs.
“At Ethereal Green, we are constantly innovating, reinventing, adopting new technology and creating new benchmarks,” said Hirav Virani, director at Ethereal Green Diamond. “The Celebration of India is not only a new milestone but also commemorates sovereign India's remarkable achievements for over 75 years of independence.”
Celebration of India took about 270 days to grow to 190 carats, and roughly 30 days to cut and polish to its final form.
Meanwhile, Infinity Ring has also been graded Type IIA with excellent polish and symmetry by IGI. Growing the stone took about 146 days while transforming it to its final “freeform, modified shape” took another three months. Ethereal Green Diamond operates a state-of-the-art facility in Gujarat, India.
Tehmasp Printer, CEO of IGI, said these latest LGD creations are testament to the limitless possibilities that can be achieved in the lab-grown diamond sector using advanced technology.
Celebration of India and Infinity Ring are scheduled to be displayed at RockRush’s store in Soho, New York after the JCK show in Las Vegas, where the pieces were launched.
