Coloured gemstone suppliers will display an expansive range of goods at the upcoming Jewellery & Gem Digital World (J&G Digital World) scheduled for October 27 to 29.
Organised by Informa Markets Jewellery in collaboration with Atelier Technology, J&G Digital World is the first in a series of virtual events aimed at bringing the global jewellery marketplace to your doorstep.
J&G Digital World will be live 24 hours a day during the event period, with exhibitors’ individual team members having the flexibility of setting the time when they will be available to serve buyers. The platform is in English for the pilot event, with the Chinese-language interface and other enhanced features slated for release next year.
Universe of gems
Coloured gemstone manufacturers from across the globe are aiming to dazzle buyers with their latest collections at the virtual event.
Paul Wild OHG of Germany is presenting a curated selection of Paraiba tourmalines in various colours and shapes, headlined by an exceptional necklace, earring and ring suite.
“One of the most sought-after coloured gemstones in the market today, the Paraiba tourmaline is prized for its distinct neon-blue colour and fascinating glow that makes it incomparable to other gems,” noted Paul Wild.
US-based Shaun Gems International Ltd meanwhile is casting the spotlight on a natural, no-heat Ceylon chrysoberyl cat’s eye weighing 22.74 carats. The stone’s defining characteristics are its special size, clarity and the sharp eye with a honey colour base.
Located in New York City’s diamond and jewellery district, Shaun Gems imports and supplies fine natural coloured gems.
For its part, Shapiro Gems of Belgium will showcase an extensive collection of polished rubies, sapphires and emeralds.
Shapiro Gems, based in the Antwerp Diamond Center, specialises in unheated gemstones and diamonds of exceptional size and quality. It also offers a wide range of commercial goods imported directly from the Far East, Africa and South America.
