Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA), Asia’s top mid-year B2B fine jewellery fair, opens today with more than 1,200 exhibitors ready to fulfil buyers’ diverse sourcing needs.
The show, which runs from June 19 to 22 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), is bringing together major suppliers from nearly 30 countries and regions, spread out across more than 30 theme and group pavilions, said show organiser Informa Markets Jewellery.
Three standout attractions are sure to enhance the buyer experience: The groundbreaking Orient Odyssey 2.0 pearl exhibit (Stand 3M260) led by Platinum Sponsors Autore, Hong Kong Edison Pearl Co Ltd, Jewelmer, Paspaley Pearling Company and Rio Pearl; a dedicated Gold Jewellery Pavilion and the announcement of the Finalists for the Sustainability Awards 2025 by JWA (Jewellery World Awards).
“The variety of jewellery resources, product launches and networking opportunities at JGA reaffirms its status as Asia’s top mid-year B2B marketplace for trade buyers,” said Celine Lau, director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery.
Buyers have at their disposal an expansive range of products, including loose diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls; fine finished jewellery; jewellery mountings; antique and vintage finds; packaging; equipment and tools and industry-related technologies.
Moreover, the event programme features thought-provoking panel discussions. Scheduled for today is “The Rise of the Eco-Friendly Luxury Consumer,” which examines how the call for sustainability shapes purchasing decisions in the jewellery market.
Leading this conversation are industry insiders Lianne Ng of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group; Henry Tse of Ancardi, Nyrelle & JRNE; and Pui In Catherine Siu of PICS Fine Jewellery.
Meanwhile, “For the Love of Pearls: A Millennial and Gen Z Affair,” scheduled for June 20, will look at how pearls are increasingly becoming popular among a younger generation of buyers.
This dynamic session will bring together Ruby Autore of Autore Group, David Wong of Fukui Shell Nucleus Factory and Julien-Loïc Garin of The Collection by JLG.
