This year’s edition of Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA), Asia’s premier mid-year trade fair, is presenting sparkling sourcing opportunities alongside exciting, one-of-a-kind events.
Scheduled for June 20 to 23 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), JGA features approximately 1,500 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions, spread across more than 30 pavilions categorised by groups, products and themes.
One of the fair’s must-visit destinations is the Fine Design/Fine Gem Pavilion in Hall 3E – a space dedicated to high jewellery manufacturers and select gemstone houses.
“JGA is all about discovery, and this pavilion will give fairgoers a central place where they can meet with many of the industry’s best, get inspired and source the finest gems and jewellery that they need for their business,” said Celine Lau, director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery. “Needless to say, virtually every piece of exhibit in this pavilion is rare, precious and superbly crafted.”
Further adding glitter and colour to the fair are the Fei Cui Gallery, which showcases an impressive jadeite display, and the Antique & Vintage Jewellery Pavilion, a favourite of speciality boutiques and retailers.
Professional buyers will also find a diverse selection of exceptional offerings throughout the show’s distinct sections, thoughtfully organised by product categories. These encompass loose diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls; finished jewellery and jewellery mountings; jewellery manufacturing equipment; packaging solutions and technology applications, Lau continued.
JGA also offers an exclusive content programme that includes panel discussions and an immersive gem showcase.
Red Radiance 2.0
Informa Markets’ Jewellery & Gem Knowledge Community is bringing back the highly successful Red Radiance ruby showcase, which debuted at Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) last year. Red Radiance 2.0 – The Ruby’s Mine-to-Market Adventure offers an immersive gemstone learning opportunity at JGA 2024. A truly exceptional experience, this year’s edition features live gemstone-cutting demonstrations by world-class gem artist and Extraordinary 40 Awardee Victor Tuzlukov, alongside a sparkling ruby exhibit, audio storytelling and inclusion viewing.
Tuzlukov is conducting live gemstone-cutting demonstrations for the first time at an international exhibition in Asia. This exclusive occasion will see him doing the “Lion Cut,” while also showcasing the breathtaking completion of one of his masterpieces, “Arabian Night,” onsite.
In 2023, Tuzlukov was named one of the industry’s “Extraordinary 40” by Informa Market’s Jewellery World Awards, which recognises industry champions, innovations and remarkable achievements in the jewellery community.
