The limelight is on Asian jewellery manufacturers who will display their latest creations at Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA), which opens on June 20, 2024.
Singapore's Teng Huat Jewellery Pte Ltd, established in 1975, will turn the spotlight on a stunning selection of gold jewellery pieces. Headlining Teng Huat’s product offerings is a uniquely shaped ring featuring diamonds set on sinuous curves inspired by ocean waves. Another highlight of the collection is a pair of pear-shaped dangling earrings whose outlines are dotted by sparkling diamonds.
“We specialise in the wholesale and retail of high-quality diamond-studded gold jewellery in the local and international market. We also offer wedding bands, engagement rings and ornaments,” noted Teng Huang.
Meanwhile, coloured gemstones are king in Japan-based Kiai Co Ltd’s collections. At the fair, which runs until June 23, Kiai will display an extensive array of gemstone-adorned jewellery pieces led by a platinum ring with an exceptional no-oil emerald focal gem.
Sapphires, rubies, Paraiba tourmalines and other coloured gemstones also figure extensively in the company’s fine jewellery collections. Kiai has been in the business for 30 years.
Hong Kong is also home to some of the most prolific jewellery manufacturers in the global trade. Ying Fung Jewellery Ltd, founded in 2002, produces exclusive handcrafted jewellery. At the centre of its creations is jadeite in contemporary designs.
“Our work reflects the clever combination of Chinese tradition with precious materials, creative ideas and exceptional craftsmanship,” remarked Ying Fung.
Kayra Creation Ltd, another Hong Kong jeweller, is likewise showcasing its artistry at the fair. Its speciality is diamond jewellery, featuring diverse cuts and shapes of diamonds as well as unique settings.
