Luxury jewellery houses have unveiled new high jewellery lines that emphasise the timeless appeal of diamonds while showcasing unmatched craftsmanship and creativity.
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Messika introduced the Terres d'Instinct High Jewelry Collection at a showcase during Paris Fashion Week in October.
Comprising 23 jewellery sets, the collection features four themes – Mirage, Kalahara, Fauve and Zabra Mnyama – that pay tribute to landscapes, wildlife and vibrant spirits of Southern Africa.
Highlights include the Mirage necklace that captures the essence of the slow drift of Sossusvlei’s dunes with volumes rippling in brushed gold and pavé diamonds; and the Fauve diamond necklace, which is inspired by the lion’s claw.
Boucheron, meanwhile, has launched its Flèche jewellery line centred on diamonds and white gold, which draws inspiration from the arrow motif that has been a part of Boucheron's heritage since 1860. This year, creative director Claire Choisne presents eight new arrows designed for all genres, including rings, earrings, bracelets, chokers, pendants and brooches.
Two new white gold brooches – one, minimalist and slender; the other, oversized and sculptural – are crafted meticulously and adorned with round and baguette diamonds.
Chopard, for its part, has lifted the veil on its new Ice Cube High Jewellery Collection, featuring sculptural necklaces, bracelets, rings and brooches. The geometric designs combine the cube shape with the brilliance of diamonds, creating bold and refined statement diamond pieces that exude elegance and modernity.
