Cutting-edge applications alongside greener options are gaining steam in the jewellery display and packaging sector as buyers increasingly look for innovative solutions.
In fact, a growing number of displays are becoming more design- and function-oriented in response to rising consumer preference for immersive experiences in brick-and-mortar stores.
Case in point is Acelab Technology Ltd, which recently introduced Paxton Glazing, a transparent organic light emitting diode (OLED) display, to the market. These display screens communicate dynamic content via a transparent surface, allowing simultaneous viewing of what is shown on the screen and what lies behind it.
According to CC Poon, managing director of the company, the display is also able to showcase product details, letting viewers interact with the display as they would with a touch screen.
“This function empowers jewellers to effectively communicate their message and provide relevant information to consumers who visit the stores. We are committed to meeting the needs of our clients who increasingly demand interactive solutions to better engage with consumers,” Poon explained.
Display and packaging manufacturer Elegante Arts Packaging Co Ltd, for its part, offers an expansive selection of jewellery display and packaging solutions made of various materials such as wood, steel, leather and acrylic, among others.
Eric Yeung, marketing manager of Elegante Arts, said, “Today’s buyers are highly conscious of eco-friendly materials. In response to rising demand, we use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified wood and paper, as well as other recycled materials for our display and packaging products.”
