Chan established her brand, Thinking Daisy Jewellery, in 2018. The company combines ingenious craftsmanship and stylish expressions to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Chan explained, “The company name is inspired by the adage, ‘thinking out of the box.’ It is also the central concept of the brand.” A graduate of the Fine Arts Department of Hong Kong Art School and the Jewelry Design Department of Hong Kong Baptist University, Chan is a lover of nature, architecture and the arts. The brand offers three hero silver jewellery collections: Zero 999, Soul 925 and Italian Love. Each collection is a “pursuit of beauty,” noted Chan. Among these, the Muse series from Soul 925 is inspired by the designer’s muse – female architect Zaha Hadid who found fame for her futuristic design philosophy. The series’ design element is composed of overlapping curves of a building interspersed with colour blocks, lines and triangles. Italian frosted gold craftsmanship, meanwhile, helped create a diamond sparkle effect. The top layer uses cold enamel technology to bring out a unique colour, lustre and texture. Chan won accolades from the Muse Design Awards, New York Product Design Awards and International Design Awards for this distinctive design. Thinking Daisy Jewellery has made a name for itself in Hong Kong, China and Singapore. At JGW 2024, Chan is aiming to introduce the brand to international audiences, specifically those from Europe and the US. Prism Group is offering an expansive selection of fine jewellery pieces in eyecatching designs that underscore the inherent grandeur and scintillating appeal of diamonds. Among the highlights of its showcase at Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) 2024 are snowflake-inspired pieces that effectively draws out the sparkle of diamonds. Its Snowflake earrings in 18-karat yellow gold mimic the appearance of chains or links. The pair is further accentuated with 0.15 carat of diamonds. Meanwhile, 0.29 carat of diamonds in the Snowflake ring are set in 18-karat white gold. Prism Group was established in 1997 as a manufacturer, exporter and wholesaler of enhanced fancy colour diamonds in a wide range of sizes, shapes, colours and clarity grades. It later expanded its business into diamond jewellery. Going beyond the concept of 2D, the necklace is composed of two frames. The left portion uses heavy paint to express the artist’s inner emotions while the right side is created with resin art paint.
