In the “Behind the Scenes of Jewellery Making” section, twice-daily demonstrations of goldsmithing and granulation techniques offer visitors a rare glimpse into the meticulous processes that transform precious metals into exquisite jewellery pieces. “Art of Metal Testing” shows how experts use acids, touchstones and advanced instruments to verify precious metals’ purity and authenticity; while “Precious Metals Markets” explains the factors that drive the value of precious metal products. “Fine Jewellery Appreciation” defines the codes of high jewellery; “Responsibility, Regulations and Recycling” investigates sustainability in fine jewellery metals; and “Beyond Jewellery” examines the practical applications of gold, platinum and silver beyond adornment. JGW 2025’s emphasis on precious metals extends onto its trading floors. An expanded Gold Jewellery Pavilion serves as a focal point for innovative trends and technological advances in gold jewellery creation.
