The gem and jewellery conglomerate foresees rising demand propelled by market dynamics underscoring a favorable outlook for the future. Sanjay Kothari, the group’s vice chairman, said, “As the market regains momentum, our strategic approach and readiness to capture emerging prospects will further reinforce our position in the polished diamond sector.” He pointed out that KGK had successfully managed obstacles like supply chain disruptions and shifts in consumer spending trends by emphasising its commitment to transparency, responsible sourcing practices and a steadfast dedication to product innovation. “Our agility in adapting to the evolving landscape, alongside our emphasis on ethical business practices, has enabled us to not only address these factors effectively but also capitalise on emerging opportunities,” he added. Glittering prospects China is a case in point. According to Kothari, the group’s diamond business demonstrated remarkable resilience and robust gains in China this year. The steady expansion of China's economy and its burgeoning middle-class population have significantly bolstered demand for diamonds, he said.
