With his experience in the fashion and movie industries as well as his stint as a jewellery specialist in international auction houses, Young’s definition of bespoke jewellery is beyond luxury. “A delicately crafted jewellery piece represents a unique connection among the wearer, the designer, the craftsmen and Mother Nature,” remarked the designer. To further convey his design philosophies, he established Hong Kong- based private jewellery house Young’s Creation Co Ltd. Bejewelled fairy- tale figures that manifest Young’s artistic passion are the stars of his collections. Young’s positivity and affection towards life is reflected in his work – from a quirky bunny adorned with coloured gemstones to a lady piggy embellished with fancy sapphires and a frog-inspired jadeite piece in contemporary design.
