SPOTLIGHT 28 | Thailand Special 2023 Thailand-based jewellery designer Gabrielle Bruni, renowned for her silver jewellery collections, is expanding the portfolio of her eponymous brand and future-proofing her business to unleash golden opportunities that will hold her in good stead amid continuing macroeconomic uncertainties. Her new offerings include an exceptional gold jewellery collection that is poised to anchor her Gabrielle Bruni Creations brand. Comprising 18 to 20 alluring styles, the jewellery pieces feature organic designs with diamond accents and coloured gemstones such as spessartite garnets, spinels, tanzanite stones and sapphires. Price points range from US$350 to US$3,500 at wholesale. The new line comes in response to client requests for gold jewellery options, she revealed. “As we downsized our company just before the Covid-19 pandemic hit, we started offering our current customers more bespoke gold pieces,” explained Bruni. “The response was very positive hence our move to further develop a gold line.” The gold jewellery collection under Gabrielle Bruni Creations is expected to first generate around 30 per cent of the volume and value of the business before gradually accounting for a greater portion of the company. It is geared towards the brand’s designer customers and private clients from the US, the United Kingdom and France, among others. Creative stamp Gabrielle Bruni Creations subscribes to the brand philosophy of creativity and quality that has guided the company for over two decades. “For the past 25 years, our purpose has been and will remain – Uncompromising Style and Elegance – while offering quality service and production to clients and enjoying being creative at the same time,” Bruni said. The designer established Galliana Creations in 1998 to provide high-quality jewellery manufacturing and appealing styles that infuse Western themes with Asian sensibilities, resulting in a distinctive look all her own. Her brand, Gabrielle Bruni, became known for its intricate and high-quality silver jewellery designs with contemporary textures and embellished with diamonds and coloured gemstones. The silver and gold jewellery pieces from popular Gabrielle Bruni lines such as Harlequin are still actively being produced and sold.
