India currently accounts for 15 per cent of global LGD production, the council revealed. The International Grown Diamond Association (IGDA), a US-based non-profit organisation, has named industry expert Vivien Johnston Glass as sustainability chair. She is tasked to oversee IGDA’s initiatives on consumer education and disseminating accurate information on sustainability as an evidence-based concept.
