Manufacturer of the Year Much like retailers who have turned to digital solutions to boost their sales, the manufacturer also invested in online solutions to improve productivity in its factories. In this light, Xingguangda created big data-sharing central warehouse platforms like “Color Jewellery Steward” and “Jubaohui” to keep track of its end-users’ evolving needs. It then uses the data to enhance the end-to-end supply chain. To further integrate its resources, Xingguangda optimised these IT enhancements with the acquisition of modern hardware. Among its latest purchases were a magnetic grinding polisher, high-speed centrifugal polishing machines and new metal grinding machines. These helped elevate its polishing auxiliary utilisation rate, reduce metal loss, shorten the production cycle and save 70 to 80 percent on costs. Xingguangda also obtained a fully accessorised, numerically controlled 50 CNC machine to broaden its embroidery capabilities. The spindle has likewise been upgraded to manufacture pieces that exhibit good symmetry, rich textures and a wider variety of patterns.
