Altogether, these elements enable the company to succeed, not only as an outstanding manufacturer but also as a sustainable enterprise. Manufacturer of the Year “Many businesses from around the world outsource to companies in Vietnam for their production needs. Recognising this trend, we made technical improvements in our manufacturing facilities and diversified our design portfolio,” shares Le, whose company produces up to four million products each year and supplies jewellery to nearly 400 retail stores and 3,000 wholesale customers in Vietnam, and 13 other countries and regions. In line with this, PNJ invested in modern enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and a newly developed data warehouse to consolidate its manufacturing process. These systems are then reinforced by strategically acquired equipment, which include advanced mould furnaces, casting machines, pattern engraving machines and numerically controlled machines for diamond engraving. Showing its commitment to upholding the welfare of its staff, PNJ installed stricter health measures to protect the workforce from COVID-19.
