Today, the jewellery and gem industry gets together to experience a fair, open and transparent platform for companies to share their experiences, encourage and support each other and celebrate the accomplishments and success of their peers. This valuable initiative promotes a set of core values and high standards that are recognised by industry leaders. We are proud that the jewellery and gem trade upholds and emphasises the same principles of excellence and impeccable quality exhibited by other major industries. We have made significant progress in areas such as innovation and corporate social responsibility, developing our own set of best practices for the industry, which the Jewellery News Asia team has chronicled in this book.
