Hong Kong will seize the jewellery world’s spotlight this September as Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) brings together more than 3,000 exhibitors across six product-specific fairs in two venues.
“We are counting down to the world’s premier jewellery marketplace and looking forward to welcoming buyers from every continent to Hong Kong,” said Celine Lau, director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery. “JGW stands as the industry’s definitive gathering, offering wholesalers and retailers the complete jewellery sourcing experience – from discovering what is new and next in design to optimising inventory – all in one efficient visit. With our industry facing unprecedented challenges – from tariff uncertainties to supply chain complexities – face-to-face connections with manufacturers and suppliers offer clarity on product availability, pricing adjustments and business road mapping.”
Lau underscored the six compelling reasons that make JGW an unmissable event for buyers.
From September 15 to 19, the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) will be the venue for three co-located fairs, each distinguished by their specific focus on precious materials. These are JGW: Gemstones (Halls 3, 6, 8 & 10), JGW: Diamonds & Fine Gems (Halls 5, 7, 9 & 11) and JGW: Pearls+ (Halls 1 & 2).
From September 17 to 21, three shows dedicated to finished jewellery, packaging solutions, tools & equipment and jewellery industry-related technologies will take over the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), namely, JGW: Hong Kong (Hall 1), JGW: International (Halls 3 & 5) and JGW: Fine Design (Grand Hall).
These six attractions comprise over 40 category-focused pavilions.
An expansive range of coloured gemstones will be on full display JGW: Gemstones, from the iconic trio of rubies, emeralds and sapphires to tourmalines, opals and aquamarines, to name a few.
JGW: Diamonds & Fine Gems will host the industry’s best, from top diamond and gemstone suppliers to established manufacturers offering a diverse range of loose stones across various quality grades, cuts, colours and price ranges while JGW: Pearls+ will offer a diverse selection of loose Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian and freshwater pearls, alongside ocean-born treasures like conch and melo melo pearls, among others. This zone will also highlight precious coral, fine minerals and jewellery accessories.
Over at HKCEC, JGW: Hong Kong will bring together world-class Hong Kong companies with decades of expertise in design and production, and precious materials sourcing and manufacturing. Buyers can view displays featuring pure gold creations as well as collections adorned with diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls.
JGW: International, meanwhile, brings the entire world of fine jewellery together in one extraordinary buying destination. This sourcing hub features premier ateliers and major jewellers.
Masterful craftsmanship meets luxury at JGW: Fine Design, which will showcase exceptional creations from prestigious jewellery and gemstone houses. Buyers will discover one-of-a-kind collections adorned with flawless diamonds, pearls and coloured gems.
Trendy jewellery
Meanwhile, design trend forecasting takes centre stage at SEASONS | Autumn Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair, which will be held concurrently with JGW from September 17 to 21 in Halls 5BC of the HKCEC. Recognised as the premier gathering in Fall for the fashion jewellery and accessories sector, the B2B buying event presents exclusive showcases including MODE by SEASONS Ι Autumn powered by Fashion by Informa and the Tomorrow Aisle. The latter is a special section that brings together four institutions, namely the returning Pro-Act Training and Development Centre (Jewellery) of Hong Kong, alongside first-time participants Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, Guangzhou Huashang College’s School of Jewelry and the Jewellery Institute of Taiwan. These curated sections offer buyers access to the latest collections of exhibitors and creations of next-generation design talent, providing valuable insights into Spring/Summer 2026 trends and beyond.
Special features
Providing trade buyers access to products and innovations that could potentially help them drive business success, JGW offers more than exhibits. Beyond showcases, the marketplace gives visitors the opportunity to journey through the world of jewellery metals at Sublime Shine: Metal Innovations in the Art of Jewellery, an experiential space supported by Industry Partners World Gold Council (WGC) and Platinum Guild International (PGI); engage in industry fellowship at the Sustainability Awards 2025 by JWA (Jewellery World Awards) Recognition Ceremony and complementing panel sessions and seminars, and participate in landmark events like the ASEAN Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (AGJA) Conference, which is making its Hong Kong debut.
Buyer pre-registration for JGW remains open until September 7.
