The Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturing Association (HKJJA) has announced new high-level appointments for the term of 2024 to 2026.
Victor Chan, chairman of Continental Jewellery (Mfg) Ltd, was named chairman while former chairman Louis Cheung, chairman of Edelweiss Jewellery Co Ltd, now serves as the association’s honorary chairman and director.
Chan brings with him over two decades of experience in the jewellery industry. As company chairman, he manages the overall operations of the Continental Jewellery Group, particularly sales and marketing, product development, investment and financing activities, as well as corporate and business development. Chan also serves as vice chairman of the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong China Ltd.
Other major appointments include Henry Wai of Maxim Jewellery Group as founder and honorary life chairman, Billy Lau of East Arts Jewelry Mfy Ltd as honorary president and director, Benedict Sin of Myer Jewelry Mfr Ltd as president and director.
Meanwhile, Adam Lau of Able Jewelry Mfg Ltd, Cassandra Lo of Eternity Manufacturing Ltd, Danny Chau of Front Top Jewelry Mfr Ltd, Johnson Kam of Gold Field Co Mfg Ltd, Rebecca Cheng of Rio Pearl, Kitty Chan of Sheentiff Jewellery Ltd, Eric Ho of The Big City Jewellery Ltd, and Karen Li of Universal Jewellery Co Ltd, were named vice chairmen.
Since 1965, the HKJJA plays a pivotal role in fostering jewellery and jade exports in Hong Kong. Currently, HKJJA has over 340 member companies.
