The Israel Diamond Institute is holding an auction of special stones at the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show, which is scheduled for February 28 to March 2.
The auction will take place at IDI’s Israel Diamond Pavilion, which is hosting 58 companies this year. Ten other Israeli companies will be exhibiting in other locations throughout the show. The fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo.
The goods can be viewed and bids may be placed during the first two days of the exhibition. Progress on the bidding will be shown on screens located within the pavilion.
According to IDI, Israeli exhibitors will be presenting diamonds especially suited to Asian markets, with several companies showcasing very large and important stones and fancy colour diamonds. Moreover, many of the exhibitors will also be displaying specially designed diamond jewellery pieces.
