A rich programme of events, seminars and talks awaits attendees of Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) 2025, with the objective of providing participants with valuable insights on navigating evolving market conditions.
The show kicks off with an Opening Ceremony from 11:00am to 11:30am on November 11 at the Golden Stage within the hall grounds.
From 2:00pm to 3:00pm, the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) will conduct a session on “Storytelling in Jewellery and Gemstones.”
Moderated by ORIGINALLUXURY & OriginAll Co-Founder Margot Stuart, the panel will consist of Adi AlFardan, owner of Ali AlFardan Jewellery; Wafa Habbar, general manager of Robert Wan; Mohammed Karam, associate director – Precious Stones at DMCC; Gianluca Maina, chief marketing officer of Fura Gems; Rachel Sahar, founder of R Sahar Diamonds; and Ashish Sakhardande, head of India Jewellery Expo.
This will be followed by the “Beyond Craftsmanship: The Role of Innovation and Consumer Insight in Sustaining Jewellery Businesses” panel discussion, organised by the Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG).
Sharing their thoughts on the subject are DJG Chairman and Jawhara Jewellery CEO Tawhid Abdulla, La Marquise Jewellery Managing Director Nishit Shah, KGK Diamonds Head of Business Ashish Garg and World Gold Council Market Development and Public Policy Lead Lisa Vainio. Ollie Quiniquini, Associate Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of JNA, will moderate this session, which takes place from 3:15pm to 5:15pm.
On November 12, the Middle East Jewellery Designers Forum by The New Jeweller takes over the Golden Stage from 10:15am to 1:00pm. Up next is The Quantum Age – Jewellery and the Convergence of Cultural Transformation, a seminar by Trendvision J+F lasting from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
The China (Zhengzhou) – Dubai Industry Partnership & Business Matchmaking Forum 2025, organised by the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association (CMTBA), is also scheduled on November 12 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
