The 2025 ASEAN Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (AGJA) Conference is taking place from 10:30am to 1:00pm on September 18, 2025 at The Stage in the Grand Foyer of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The session, “Creating a unified ASEAN jewellery network with Hong Kong expertise in design and trade,” will be moderated by Lawence Ma, founding president of Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China (DFHK). Speakers include Charles Ho Nai Chuen, president of the Singapore Jewellers Association; Ermin Siow, vice chairman of AGJA and advisor of the Federation of Goldsmiths and Jewellers Associations of Malaysia (FGJAM); Simon Chan, CEO of the China Gems and Jade Exchange; Le Yen, vice president of the Vietnam Gemstone Jewelry and Art Crafts Association; Mia Florencio, past president of the Guild of Philippine Jewellers Inc; Henry Ho, vice president of AGJA; and Eric Ho, vice chairman of HKJJA.
The second session, “How to leverage smart digital solutions to drive efficiency, growth and profitability within the ASEAN jewellery network,” moderated by Kent Wong, chairman of The Jewellers’ and Goldsmiths’ Association of Hong Kong, will feature Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group’s Chief Brand Officer Alan Chan and Tencent’s Vertical General Manager of Tencent Smart Retail Terry Li.
According to HKJJA, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, the Hong Kong jewellery industry is poised for significant growth opportunities in the coming decade. Ongoing expansion in ASEAN and mainland markets, coupled with digital and e-commerce advancements, could eliminate geographical barriers to trade.
