Japanese jewellers are set to captivate international buyers with their exquisite creations at the upcoming Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) 2025.
Jewelry of Raden and Urushi (Peerless), founded by designer Keiko Ito, is ready to dazzle buyers with her latest creations such as striking brooches in 18-karat gold adorned with mother-of-pearl and other gemstones.
Outstanding pieces include a brooch with tourmaline and mother-of-pearl that channels the spirit of the phoenix soaring in the sky; and a jade, green garnet and diamond brooch inspired by the Year of the Snake.
The Japanese jewellery brand specialises in combining the beauty of Raden (inlaid mother-of-pearl) and Urushi (Japanese natural lacquer) with modern jewellery. “Inspired by traditional crafts of medieval Japan, I have revived the art in the form of modern jewellery,” remarked Ito.
Pearl specialist Uto Shinju Co Ltd, meanwhile, will offer its standout cosmic-themed pieces at JGW.
The company will present its 7 Planet necklace with designs depicting Mercury, Saturn, Venus, Mars, Jupiter as well as the sun and the moon; the Sunshine necklace, which takes inspiration from the sun’s mesmerising light and energy through colour gradation; and the Moebius necklace, influenced by the perpetual motion of waves.
