An expansive assortment of fine coloured gemstones is brightening up the halls of the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) as manufacturers present their vast collection of on-trend stones.
Advanced Quality ACC Ltd aims to impress buyers with its special stones, layouts and collections at the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show.
Highlights include a fresh production of mint grossular garnet from Tanzania; a selection of Cruzeiro mine rubellites, headlined by a 40-carat top-quality loupe-clean stone; and Santa Maria-colour aquamarines from Madagascar in pairs and single stones of up to 50 carats.
Equally bound to draw attention is its oval set of Block D tanzanite, consisting of matched stones from 3 carats to 15 carats in deep Kashmir colour.
Kobi Sevdermish, president of Advanced Quality, likewise takes pride in his collection of gems in trending earthy tones, from natural zircons in coffee and cinnamon shades to champagne garnet stones, among others.
The company has also prepared special show-exclusive offers, from a “perfectly cut” 20-carat royal blue sapphire to sticky boxes with small stones in calibrated sizes, small sets and unique colour combinations.
Sevdermish is eyeing Asian and Greater China buyers for Advanced Quality’s precision-cut stones, matched pairs and calibrated goods; and Middle East customers for high-quality stones, especially in pairs and layouts to the Middle East market.
He is also seeking to expand into European and North American markets as more designers from these regions seek unique, limited-quality selections. “As efficiency and curation become more important, emerging online retailers and digital platforms show great promise,” he added.
