Kiran Exports (Hong Kong) Ltd is expecting solid demand for diamonds across all segments at Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW), fuelled by lower prices and a more stable supply in the market.
“We anticipate a fair bit of movement since prices seem to have stabilised at lower levels, given the production cuts by all leading manufacturers and the rescheduling of sights by De Beers Group,” said the company.
Professional trade buyers at JGW are therefore likely to make the most of the lower prices andprepare for heightened demand in the upcoming holiday and festive season, it continued.
To meet market demand, Kiran Exports is showcasing its entire range of diamonds at the show, from classic solitaires to dazzling melees and calibrated goods. It is also presenting its fine selection of fancy shapes such as marquises, pears, ovals and emerald cuts, among others.
“As the world’s leading supplier of and one stop-shop for natural diamonds, we have always targeted buyers from all over the world. We expect demand to come from Southeast Asia, the US, the Middle East and Europe. Mainland China will have specific requirements,” the diamantaire said.
