Greenland Ruby intends to delight trade buyers at Jewellery & Gem WORLD Singapore with the full extent of its inventory of rubies and pink sapphires.
An extensive assortment of calibrated cabochons, free-size faceted gems, diamond-cut stones as well as balls and beads, all responsibly mined in Greenland and ranging in colours from deep dark red to light and icy pink will be available at its booth at JGW Singapore.
The company will train its sights on Asian, Japanese and Australian buyers at the show as well as visitors seeking a responsible and reliable source of rubies and pink sapphires.
“Our calibrated assortments are perfect for manufacturers seeking a consistent supply of rubies or pink sapphires to build and maintain collections over time,” it said. “We are also attractive to buyers concerned with responsible sourcing, as each one of our gems is tracked and traced from the mine-site in Greenland and comes with a Certificate of Origin or Card of Authenticity.”
Greenland Ruby will further highlight its unique selling proposition in an enlightening presentation, “A New Responsible Source of Rubies and Pink Sapphires,” scheduled for September 28. Conducted by its CCO Hayley Henning, this will be held from 3pm to 3:30pm in Opal Room 106 on Level 1 of the Singapore EXPO.
In addition, the company will draw the winning ticket of its special raffle for the “Fire Under Ice” oil painting by Reena Ahluwalia on September 29 at its booth. As part of the “Rubies from Greenland – Fire Under Ice” campaign for its fifth anniversary, Greenland Ruby collaborated with the famed jewellery designer on an original oil painting valued at US$10,000.
A total of 500 raffle tickets are available for US$150 each on Greenland Ruby’s website, with all proceeds going to the PinkPolarbear Foundation. Each ticket-buyer also receives a free limited-edition animated NFT version of the artwork. The painting will be on display at Greenland Ruby’s booth during the show.
According to Henning, interest in rubies and pink sapphires from Greenland has grown substantially, especially among companies that pride themselves on sourcing their gems from sustainable mining operations.
Greenland Ruby intends to intensify promotions of its pink sapphires next year, noting that its extensive range of cabochons in calibrated sizes are perfect for buyers seeking lower price points.
“We also intend to increase our production of diamond-cuts to accommodate demand and interest in stones sized 0.9mm to 3mm,” it added.
