Award Recipients of the ninth edition of JNA Awards were announced last night in a 'hybrid' ceremony viewed by a global audience.
One of the highlights of Jewellery & Gem Digital World, the awards ceremony – a combination of virtual and in-person participation from awardees and attendees – saw 14 Recipients across seven categories taking home the JNA Awards’ coveted golden trophies this year.

The JNA Awards’ highest accolade – the Lifetime Achievement Award – went to two of the industry’s highly respected leaders – Lawrence Ma, CEO of Lee Heng Diamond Group, and Kent Wong, managing director of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group.
Commenting on the award, Ma said, “I am overwhelmed and excited to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the JNA Awards this year. I appreciate the great contributions and achievements of all the previous Recipients who came before me, and I am delighted to be one of them. I promise to keep on bringing the best out of myself and of all the incredible people around me.”
Wong shared, “My heartfelt gratitude to JNA Awards for granting this prestigious award. This award is not just a great honour for me; it is also a testimony to the Hong Kong jewellery industry’s key role in the global industry and an important endorsement of Chow Tai Fook’s development and contributions to the community over the years. I wholeheartedly thank all Chow Tai Fook staff, customers, and industry and business partners for their trust and support. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be who I am today.”
Letitia Chow, founder and chairperson of the JNA Awards, described Ma and Wong as “legendary figures who have thrived through the many ups and downs of the jewellery industry in the last four decades.”
“They have undoubtedly achieved commercial success for their respective organisations, but what makes them truly stand out are their tremendous contributions to the growth and prosperity of Hong Kong’s jewellery industry, all of which have had a massive impact and influence on jewellery hubs around the world. It is indeed a great honour and privilege to celebrate their lifetime achievements by conferring them the highest accolade of the JNA Awards,” Chow said.
Founded by Informa Markets Jewellery in 2012, the JNA Awards celebrates excellence, innovation and best business practices in the jewellery industry, regardless of the Honourees’ scale of operations, the areas they serve and fields of expertise.
This year, the JNA Awards feted 32 Honourees across seven categories, from which 14 Recipients were selected.
Meanwhile, one more episode of the JNA Awards Trade Talks, featuring Awards Partner, Sanjay Kothari of KGK Group, is going to be broadcast today as part of the J&G Digital World programme. To view the session, register here.
