Pearl specialists are shining the spotlight on the lustrous allure of top-quality pearls through fine jewellery collections.
South Sea pearls continue to captivate discerning buyers, according to Yvonne Pong, director of Wing Hang South Sea Pearl Co Ltd. In particular, the market is training its sights on superior-quality South Sea pearls.
For instance, Wing Hang’s Phoenix necklace features 64 white South Sea pearls, ranging in size from 12mm to 15.9mm. The necklace is designed with two diamond-studded components, allowing it to transform into two shorter necklaces.
Rio Pearl, meanwhile, is highlighting design and product innovations in its latest collection, which features creative combinations of Keshi pearls and vibrant coloured gemstones. These designs embody the fresh and energetic spirit of Spring, blending creativity with luxury, according to the company.
French pearl specialist Alain Boite is also offering stunning top-quality South Sea pearl statement pieces. “Tahitian and white South Sea pearls are among the fastest moving products now,” Pierre Boite, general director of the company, noted.
