Jewellers are catering to buyers’ growing appetite for more vibrant jewellery choices with exceptional new collections that celebrate the unparalleled allure of coloured gemstones.
The House of Gübelin recently unveiled its Tanzanian Sunrise, a stunning necklace with a 22.08-carat cushion-shaped red spinel at its centre and embellished with rubies, marquis-shaped rose spinel, pink sapphires and baguette-shaped diamonds. The sculptural design is reminiscent of a dragonfly spreading its wings and taking flight at dawn.
Coloured gemstones also take centre stage in RichandRare’s latest Peacock Collection, which features rare engraved coloured gemstones and beads that embody the grace and elegance of a peacock – a symbol of rebirth and transformation.
A standout piece from the collection is a necklace adorned with a 12.14-carat heart-shaped sapphire centre stone along with sapphire beads and diamonds totalling 464.65 carats and 16.91 carats, respectively.
Another highlight is an Art Deco-style necklace that converts into a brooch, featuring 40.61 carats of engraved emeralds with onyx, diamonds and other coloured gemstones.
