Materials technology firm Umicore recently launched Nexyclus™, a comprehensive range of fully recycled precious metals including gold, silver and the platinum-group metals (PGM) – platinum, palladium and rhodium. These come with Chain of Custody certifications.
According to Umicore, Nexyclus™ leverages the company’s expertise in precious metal refining and recycling. It aims to address resource scarcity and meet growing demand for recycled, responsibly sourced and low-carbon metals.

Meanwhile, precious metals specialist Legor Group SpA has introduced its new 3D Metal Jet Printing Service, an innovative solution to producing jewellery, fashion and industrial components from metal powders using Binder Jet technology.
According to Legor, 3D Metal Jet Printing benefits the jewellery manufacturing industry in terms of design flexibility and efficient production processes. It allows jewellery designers to modify their designs, produce a variety of diverse pieces in a single cycle and create hollow or interlocking pieces without soldering.
