The fashion jewellery industry is witnessing a surge in demand, fuelled by buyers’ soaring appetite for more innovative and versatile designs and materials as well as affordable prices.
A younger generation of fashion-forward buyers who seek stylish accessories can choose from an eclectic assortment of jewellery pieces adorned with coloured gemstones, both natural and synthetic; beads, leather, glass or wood, to name a few.
The pieces also come in a variety of base metals including copper, brass, aluminium, bronze, or other base metal alloys.
The latest trendsetting fashion jewellery collections will take centre stage at the upcoming SEASONS | Spring Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair 2024, scheduled for February 28 to March 2 at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE).
Chains, tropical themes, long or statement necklaces, mixed materials, metallic looks, and gold accents are among the style movements expected to dominate fashion jewellery in 2024 and beyond, according to show organiser Informa Markets Jewellery.
Among the show’s highlights are exciting new designs, including Yiwu Oulin Trading Co Ltd’s fun and eye-catching bracelets, necklaces and earrings made of natural stone and multicolour glass beads in gold-plated stainless steel.
Floreia® of Nature’s Legacy Eximport Inc, meanwhile, offers wearable art pieces using sustainable natural materials. Among her product offerings are its voluminous “Wakana” and “Canatara” necklaces made of NuCast composite paper.
