Buyers can choose from a variety of rings, earrings, bangles or necklaces adorned with beads, wood, coloured gems, leather and enamel, among others, set in brass, stainless steel, copper, aluminium and other gold-plated metals. 

Nature-inspired collections are highly sought-after while modern designs that make use of geometric elements and abstract artistic interpretations that resonate with a younger generation of buyers are also gaining traction in the trade. 

Industry data indicated that the global costume jewellery market was valued at approximately US$28 billion to US$30 billion in 2022 and could reach around US$48 billion by 2027.
