In celebration of Chinese New Year 2021, which ushers in the Year of the Ox, jewellers are offering inspired collections infused with scintillating elements from Chinese culture. 

Fine jeweller Qeelin is reinventing its iconic Wulu design through the Wulu Lace Red Agate collection in homage to the art of Chinese papercutting with a modern touch. 

The collection, which includes a necklace, pendant and earrings in 18-karat rose gold, features the sinuous shape of the Wulu outlined with diamonds and carved red agate inspired by lace patterns reminiscent of Chinese papercutting. 

Qeelin also updated its playful and trendy Bo Bo collection with the Niu Bo Bo character to welcome the Year of the Ox. It also offers four Love Whisper necklaces in 18-karat rose gold with diamonds and coloured gemstones, featuring love birds celebrating the beginning of spring.

The ox symbolises strength, endurance, good spirit and prosperity in Chinese culture, according to King Fook Jewellery Group.
