JNA: Which diamond categories are selling the fastest and how are lab-grown diamonds affecting the business?
Dholakiya: Two carats and above are the best-selling categories at the moment because prices are stable, and there may be shortage of goods. Hopefully, we are seeing improved prices in this category. Layouts and fancy cuts are doing very well. Most product categories are moving. However, smaller sizes, especially round cuts, may face some challenges. But fancy cuts across all sizes are performing strongly.
The line between lab-grown and natural diamonds is now very clear. People understand the difference. Natural diamonds are always preferred because these are rare. There is a clear category for each, and people know what they want to buy.
