Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA), the ultimate mid-year B2B jewellery marketplace for ready-to-ship and seasonal inventory, will feature two co-located fairs at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from June 18 to 21, 2026.
Asia’s No. 1 mid-year B2B jewellery buying destination showcases the industry’s finest, providing trade professionals access to the latest product debuts − from finished jewellery and loose gemstones to packaging products and innovative technology solutions − all in one place, according to fair organiser Informa Markets Jewellery.
Buyer pre-registration is open until June 7. Successfully registered attendees can enjoy fast-track badge collection for a smoother start to their sourcing journey.
Celine Lau, director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery, underscored JGA’s pivotal role in the global jewellery calendar. “Taking place mid-year, JGA allows wholesalers, distributors, retail chains and jewellers to assess their first-half performance and prepare for the opportunities ahead. It also serves as a strategic lead-in to September’s Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW), making it an essential stop for anyone serious about growing their business,” Lau said.
JGA is designed to simplify the buying experience by bringing together two distinct fairs under one roof. Together, these four-day shows feature a combined total of over 1,100 exhibitors from nearly 30 countries and regions, spread across more than 30 pavilions. These group stands are organised by country or region, industry association and product category for easy navigation.
Two shows, one venue
JGA: Jewellery in Hall 1 presents an exceptional range of finished jewellery, blending craftsmanship with contemporary design. The exhibits span a wide spectrum, from timeless classics to bold statement pieces. Here, buyers will discover creations adorned with diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls and other precious materials, alongside collections crafted in plain metal.

Further expanding the fair’s impact is the CORE Pavilion, a dedicated showcase of Hong Kong’s jewellery community, which is celebrated for its long-standing reputation for rapid innovation in design and manufacturing, whether for bespoke creations or high-volume quality production. For buyers seeking standout pieces to meet high-demand seasons, this show is an essential destination.
Meanwhile, Hall 3 hosts JGA: Diamonds, Gemstones & Pearls+, offering a world-class selection of loose materials from leading international suppliers. This fair also features the Fine Design/Fine Gem Pavilion, where exhibitors present collections sought after by legacy brands, premium retailers, high jewellery makers and collectors. It is a space where buyers can encounter unique finds − rare gems in amazing cuts, colours and qualities − that set this sourcing event apart.

Visitors can also explore diamonds in a wide range of grades, cuts and colours, alongside an impressive selection of coloured gemstones and pearls, including Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian and freshwater varieties. The exhibit includes other ocean-born treasures such as conch, abalone and Melo pearls, among others.
Power of colour
But JGA is more than a marketplace. It is a hub for innovation, collaboration and growth.
This year, JGA casts coloured gemstones into the spotlight with a dynamic blend of initiatives and discussions that celebrate creativity, diversity and leadership. At the forefront is the Gender-Fluid Coloured Gem Jewellery Design Challenge, exclusively open to design students in Asia. This exciting competition challenges the next generation of jewellery artists to showcase their ingenuity by crafting never-before-seen genderless jewellery that uses the storytelling power of coloured gemstones.

The finalists of the Design Challenge will be unveiled at JGA, where visitors and exhibitors can vote for their favourite designs. Public voting will complement evaluations conducted by a Judging Panel, which includes competition partners and industry experts. The winning designs will be brought to life in collaboration with sponsors and showcased at JGW in September, providing emerging jewellery artists with invaluable global exposure and recognition. Prizes for the winners include a sponsored trip to JGW 2026, ownership of the completed jewellery piece, editorial coverage and a certificate presented during the Awards Ceremony at the JGW Fair Reception on September 16 at the HKCEC.
The Design Challenge is divided into three categories − Earrings, Rings and Brooches − with each participant allowed to submit a maximum of two entries across all jewellery types combined. The submission deadline is April 30, 6pm (Hong Kong Time).
In addition to the Design Challenge, JGA will host engaging sessions and panels that explore coloured gemstone-related topics linked to two flagship programmes. These initiatives will culminate in grand presentations at JGW − ICA Plus and the NextGen Coloured Gem Excellence Awards by JWA (Jewellery World Awards). JGA will offer attendees an exclusive preview of these exciting developments.

ICA Plus, a three-day conference co-organised by the International Colored Gemstone Association and Informa Markets Jewellery, will be previewed through discussions on industry leadership, innovation and the latest trends in the coloured gemstone market. Meanwhile, the NextGen Awards will spotlight rising stars in the trade, recognising entrepreneurs and professionals aged 45 and under who bring fresh ideas, bold energy and a forward-thinking mindset to an ever-evolving industry.
