China National Gold Group Co Ltd (China Gold) will establish a wholly owned subsidiary in Hainan Province aimed at fortifying its domestic and overseas expansion initiatives.
Tentatively named China Gold Jewellery International Co Ltd, the new entity will function as the group’s main platform for domestic and international cooperation, maximising policy benefits offered by the Hainan Free Trade Port to develop China Gold’s overseas markets and further strengthen its global strategy.
Once operational, the new China Gold Jewellery International will collaborate with strategic partners such as China Duty Free Group and Macau Nam Kwong Group on channel expansion, cultural and creative product development and cross-border marketing.
Such initiatives will also include the introduction of culture-inspired jewellery products with an international perspective, combining China Gold’s craftsmanship with the region’s cultural and tourism resources to tell the story of Chinese brands.
The establishment of China Gold Jewellery International marks a significant milestone in the group’s strategic transformation. The company said it will continue to explore innovative business models and accelerate the globalisation of China Gold Group.
Looking ahead, the newly established company will capitalise on Hainan’s free trade policies as well as Hong Kong’s status as an international hub to expand cross-border supply chain management, develop overseas markets and enhance global brand presence.
