Italian jewellery house Vhernier has expanded its presence in Asia with the opening of its first regional boutique in Hong Kong, marking a strategic entry into one of the world’s key luxury retail markets.
The new 84-square-metre boutique at the Peninsula Hotel offers Vhernier’s signature collections, including the sculpture-inspired Abbraccio line, and the contemporary Calla series, which incorporates unconventional materials such as ebony and titanium, to name a few.
Also offered are Vhernier’s new architectural high jewellery collection Ardis along with jewellery pieces from the Aladino and Palloncino lines, and brooches crafted using the brand’s proprietary Trasparenze technique, where colour is added to sculptural forms.
The store opening brings Vhernier’s global retail footprint to 17 boutiques, demonstrating its international expansion initiatives.
“Over the coming years, Vhernier will aim to consolidate its international presence, leveraging its distinctive identity, artistic soul and sculptural style,” said Gianluca Brozzetti, executive vice president and CEO of Vhernier.
The strategy targets high-growth luxury markets, with planned openings in the Middle East and the UK in the pipeline. China likewise represents a key opportunity moving forward, with plans for expansion in 2026, revealed Sven Johannsen, managing director for APAC of Vhernier.
“We are looking to open new boutiques in Shanghai and Beijing next spring,” he noted.
Established in Italy in 1984, Vhernier was acquired by Swiss conglomerate Richemont in 2024 as part of its luxury jewellery portfolio, joining legendary houses Buccellati, Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.
