Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) is reinforcing its status as the world’s No. 1 jewellery sourcing destination through a host of pioneering initiatives this year, including a strategic brand update, the Sublime Shine special exhibit on precious metals and an expanded Gold Jewellery Pavilion.
The show is lifting the veil on its new “Six Shows. One Trip.” concept this year that reflects its six product-specific marketplaces. This revitalisation focuses on distinctive themes and product categories to enhance navigation seamlessly, complemented by unique spaces designed to take buyers on an inspired and targeted sourcing journey.
From September 15 to 19, the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) will be the venue for three co-located fairs, each distinguished by their specific focus on precious materials. These are JGW: Gemstones (Halls 3, 6, 8 and 10), JGW: Diamonds & Fine Gems (Halls 5, 7, 9 and 11) and JGW: Pearls+ (Halls 1 and 2).
From September 17 to 21, three shows dedicated to finished jewellery, packaging solutions, tools and equipment and jewellery industry-related technologies will take over the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), namely, JGW: Hong Kong (Hall 1), JGW: International (Halls 3 and 5) and JGW: Fine Design (Grand Hall).

Sublime Shine
JGW 2025 will also offer unprecedented growth avenues to exhibitors and visitors alike through special features and impactful industry dialogues.
After the successful run of the pearl-centric Orient Odyssey show floor attraction at JGW last year and Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA) 2025 this June, Informa's Jewellery & Gem Knowledge Community is shifting its focus to precious metals for jewellery this September.
The “Sublime Shine – Metal Innovations in the Art of Jewellery” special exhibit at the HKCEC will take visitors on a comprehensive and engaging journey through the world of fine jewellery metals, highlighting gold, platinum and silver, among others.
Headlined by Industry Partners World Gold Council (WGC) and Platinum Guild International (PGI®), this engaging and immersive curated zone at booth 3M260 will comprise several educational and interactive stages.
Exquisite jewellery creations featuring innovative materials and techniques will also be on display at the Sublime Shine exhibit.

Sublime Shine: Metal Innovations in the Art of Jewellery
Pointing to the impact of high gold prices on demand for gold jewellery, Informa Markets Jewellery Director of Jewellery Fairs Celine Lau said, “Through Sublime Shine, we are working with our key sponsors, WGC and PGI, to help the industry find different options. This includes highlighting different gold purities and techniques. This aligns with our role as a business platform to present opportunities and informed selections for manufacturers to continue their business.”
Gold Pavilion
JGW 2025’s focus on precious metals extends into the show’s trading floors.
An expanded Gold Jewellery Pavilion will celebrate design, craftsmanship and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques through the latest collections of leading manufacturers from around the world.
Anchoring this curated zone is WGC’s inaugural pavilion in JGW, which will house around 20 gold jewellery manufacturers from China, renowned for their expertise in the latest technologies.
According to WGC, 24-karat hard gold jewellery has emerged as the fastest-growing product category in China in the last two years. Hard gold jewellery pieces are produced through advanced technologies such as special electroforming and plating techniques that enable more intricate, lighter styles with greater durability and wear resistance.
Companies in the WGC pavilion will highlight hard gold jewellery to international markets, particularly Southeast Asia and the Middle East, which traditionally favour pure gold jewellery.
JGW provides a fitting stage to showcase these collections on a global scale and support manufacturers in their expansion efforts, WGC added.

Adding their own sparkle to the Gold Jewellery Pavilion are other Chinese companies as well as manufacturers from established gold jewellery manufacturing hubs such as Malaysia and Indonesia.
JGW will train the spotlight on men’s jewellery as well, according to Lau.
Industry forum
JGW also serves as a platform for professional knowledge exchange, effective network expansion and significant industry dialogues.
Sustainability takes centre stage once again at this year’s show. Winners of the Sustainability Awards by JWA (Jewellery World Awards) 2025 will be feted at an Awards Presentation Ceremony during the Fair Reception of JGW on September 17 at the HKCEC. Award recipients will also be invited to participate in JGW 2025's Sustainability Heroes Panel Series.
Informa Markets Jewellery’s Better Stands Programme likewise reaffirms JGW’s commitment to and advocacy for sustainable practices in the jewellery industry.
The ASEAN Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (AGJA) will also be in town for its 2025 Conference, co-organised by AGJA and the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA) on the sidelines of the show.
Members and guests of HKJJA will likewise converge in Hong Kong for a celebratory dinner to commemorate the association’s 60th anniversary.
