India cements its position as a global powerhouse in the gem and jewellery industry with its strong presence in international shows.
The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) spearheaded India’s participation in JCK Las Vegas from June 6 to 9, 2025 through several initiatives including the India Pavilion, the curated India Design Gallery and the immersive India Experience Lounge.
The India Pavilion showcased 30 leading exhibitors who presented the finest examples of Indian craftsmanship and innovation. Strategically located across key zones such as Passport, Diamond Plaza, Lab-Grown Diamond, Gemstone, and Currents, the pavilion highlighted India’s broad capabilities – from natural diamonds to coloured gemstones, contemporary jewellery design and lab-grown diamonds.
Dr. K. Srikar Reddy, Consul General of India, San Francisco, visited the India Pavilion during the show. He was welcomed by GJEPC Chairman Kirit Bhansali and Executive Director Sabyasachi Ray. Also in attendance were Dnyaneshwar Patil, IAS, development commissioner of SEEPZ and Gaetano Cavalieri, president of the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO).
“The visit by Dr. Reddy and senior dignitaries reinforces the Government of India’s continued support for promoting Indian exports and strengthening the country’s position in international markets,” GJEPC stated. “Their presence also boosts the morale of participating exporters and reaffirms India’s commitment to excellence in the global gem and jewellery trade.”
