160-carat Type IIA white diamond recovered at Lulo
Lucapa Diamond Co Ltd has unearthed a 160-carat white diamond from the same Angolan mine where Lulo Rose – an impressive 170-carat pink rough – was earlier recovered.
The 160-carat Type IIA diamond was found in the same alluvial mining block at the Lulo diamond mine as Lulo Rose, which the company said could be the largest pink diamond found in 300 years. Lulo Rose was discovered in July 2022.
